Bali & Lombok Cullinary at Signature Restaurant, Kempinski Jakarta



As a newbie in the field of food blogging, I feel excited to Join my first competition of restaurant review at Kempinski Hotel Jakarta, Signature Restaurant.

This was the third review program held by Signature Restaurant. But for me it’s the first one, because I couldn’t take part in the first and second for some reason.

Finally, together with less than 10 bloggers who took part in Signature Restaurant review that title “5 Island in 5 Weeks”, I tasted a Balinese Fried Rice, Chicken Satay Plecing,  Noodle Kober Denpasar, Chicken Betutu and Jackfruit Grass. in the third weeks theme: “Bali & Lombok Food”. Signature Restaurant is one of professional and full experienced restaurant in Indonesia that served the best taste for you whose need spices journey experience.

For this event, they have invited guest chef that comes from Bali. His name is Chef Ketut Sumerata. He is very kind, talented and experienced chef. He explain why Balinese food was so tasty, spicy and “fragrant”. He shared the secret from “Balinese long black pepper”. Unfortunately, we had no time to see it. Another secret was what made Balinese food so tasty and having a good smell was cinnamons, fennel and “frankincense” or “kemenyan”. It is something like stone that has a good smell. I was shocked, honestly. But I just really love how this food tastes. Very unique and you have to try it by yourself.

The second food that I have tried was fish
grilled sambal matah. You can taste how that spice seep so depth in each layer
of your fish. And it was perfect while it is combined with spicy sambal matah
that has unique taste. Guess what inside? It is honje.

Wow … after all spice journey, I have chosen some dessert to end my lunch: ice cream of 3 tastes, Green Tea, Strawberry sorbet and Mango sorbet. If you asked me how it tastes? Umm it was so yummy,




tasty and made my day.

Balinese Dancer
Oh I forgot something, if you still feeling there is some missing from your spice journey? Take this one.

When we have lunch, suddenly Balinese traditional dancer was coming and dancing in our midst. Hear the gamelan sound, watch the dancer and taste liked you were in bali was the best experienced lunch that I have ever felt.

Pesta Keboen Restaurant Semarang

Assalammu'alaikum semarang...
Jadi awalnya ke semarang cuma liburan dadakn seperti biasanya, eh ternyata setelah liat-liat di akunnya temen, jadi penasaran nih sama si Restaurant Pesta Keboen ini. Kalau dilihat dari postingannya sih, konsepnya vintage gitu. Dengan variasi menu Tempo Doeloe.

Nah berikut salah satu sudut ruang makan Pesta keboen ini.



Alunan live music mengiringi waktu makan kita. Dan tersedia juga jajanan era tahun 90-an, yang pasti akan membuat anda bernostalgia kembali ke jaman kecil.

Nah, setiap pengunjung yang datang juga akan mendapatkan welcome drink seperti foto berikut ini, 
secangkir beras kencur untuk tamu dewasa dan secangkir syrup untuk tamu anak-anak.

 Kebetulan ketika saya dan teman-teman berkunjung kesana, kami mencoba menu bernama Tanjung Mas. Ini adalah salah satu paket makan yang ditawarkan di Pesta Keboen. Dengan menu terdiri dari Nasi Putih, Gurame Goreng, Cah Kangkung Seafood, Kerupuk Udang, Udang Bakar Madu dan Sayur Asem. Paket cukup untuk 4-5 orang.

 Beberapa foto tempat menyusul ya. Untuk rasa masakannya, enak banget ya..rasanya original, rasa tempoe doeloe banget. Untuk range harganya bervariatif, paket tanjung mas bisa ditebus dengan harga 320k, es pesta keboen 45k, range harganya mulai dari 6-50k untuk minuman, dan mulai 50k untuk makanan. Khusus paket untuk 4 orang yg saya pilih, harga 1 paketnya 320k, exclude minuman ya. Sebandinglah dengan sajian tempat, konsep yang ditawarkan dan rasa yang menawan.

Ini ceritanya jalan2 dadakan, ke cirebon kota udang. Surga kuliner & hasil laut. Sekarang ga cuma batik trusmi loh oleh2 dari cirebon, ada rumah kerang jg. Yuk#visitcirebon #visitjawabarat. Dan karna kita sekeluarga hobinya jalan2, Pengen banget dapet hadiah utama @toyotaid , jalan2 k HK apalagi... semoga rejeki... menjawab tantangan dari mba@qhioqhio & mama ira @irajuzar
